Prof. Scott Huxtable
Dr. Huxtable received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University in 1997 and his MS and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California - Berkeley in 1999 and 2002, respectively. After a year as a post-doc at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, he joined the faculty at Virginia Tech in 2003. He is the recipient of an NSF CAREER award and a Virginia Tech College of Engineering Certificate of Teaching Excellence.

Hao-Hsiang Liao, PhD student
Hao-Hsiang Liao received his 1st B.S. in Material Science & Engineering from I-Shou University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan in 2001 and completed his 2nd B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2006.
